The Complete Series of Harry Potter Audiobooks are here!

Good news for Harry Potter Audiobooks fans! The seventh and the ultimate Harry Potter book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, will be released on July 21 2007 this year as bound text and as a Harry Potter audiobook.

Once again, its Grammy Award achiever Dale’s voice to grip over you! The Listening Library declared that this final Harry Potter book, which is 784 pages, would be of 21-hour duration on audio.

The Book with 4 Million Audio Book Copies! J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series has sold over 4 million audio books in North America alone. Dale, whose voice you listen in audio books, has won a Grammy Award in the year 2000 for Best Spoken Word Album for children.

The audio book of “Half-Blood Prince” had sold about 165,000 copies in the first weekend itself. This was more than any other audio book sold that year.

Get Ready For The “Deathly Harrows”! Random House announced that the “Deathly Hallows” audio book would be available in CDs and cassettes. However, it is yet to announce a downloadable version of this book. Rowling is known for her repulsion for digital technology. It was only in the year 2005 that Rowling permitted the downloading of the audio books, that too, exclusively on Apple Inc.’s iTunes. Note: Downloaded Audio Books from audible are exclusively compatible with iPods.

Complete Harry Potter Series On Audio! Apple has announced the availability of the complete Harry Potter audio book series exclusively on iTunes Music Store. This is for the first time that each series of Harry Potter, including the latest one – “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” – and about to release – “Harry Potter and the Deathly Harrows” is available in the form of audio book and as digital download through iTunes.
